A vast concrete wall, gently curved, intended to detect aircraft across a wider arc of sky. As part of the bird reserve, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds run regular open days. In this case some visitors brought microphones and recording equipment to experiment. These human figures give an appreciation of the size or the wall.
